While acknowledging that his crew “doesn’t love it when (he) pre-announces things”, Phil Spencer has talked brazenly in an interview about bringing unique Xbox video games and Game Pass to PC.
Speaking to PC Gamer, Phil Spencer has mentioned that he would like to see Xbox video games – which is able to soon be playable on Xbox One – engaged on PCs as nicely.
Spencer – who has been pretty candid this week, saying earlier that he’s not a fan of console exclusive content in multiplatform games – was requested if Xbox emulation could make its technique to PC sooner or later, and instantly responded “yes”.
He talks about how the unique Xbox, operating on a X86 chip, is simpler to emulate than the 360 is. “I think we’ve got work to go do there, but I think it’s in our future”, he says.
