Palworld rolls out spooktacular Halloween update with costumes and “mystery” despite Pocketpair saying “things will be a little quiet” ahead of 1.0

Palworld Zoe

The mystery element is a highlight — it feels very Scooby-Doo meets Pokémon. Pocketpair hasn’t shared many specifics yet, but they’ve hinted that more information will arrive soon and suggested this Halloween event could be Palworld’s biggest to date.

Beyond costumes—I’m especially eager to see Zoe in a cat-eared witch hat—there’s also the full 1.0 launch to look forward to next year. Pocketpair has noted that a complete release requires “a lot of cleanup,” and previously warned, “It means that things will be a little quiet from us for the rest of this year.”

“It also means our winter update won’t be as big as Feybreak was,” the team added. While that may temper expectations for the winter patch, the studio remains committed to rolling out seasonal updates like this Halloween release.

“We’re doing just fine:” Palworld dev addresses hate surrounding the survival game, says it’s just “an easy 500k views” that “doesn’t actually have any impact on the game.”
