Overwatch producer joins EA to take cost of Madden NFL sequence

Overwatch producer, Carlos Guerrero, has stepped as much as take the helm of Madden NFL after the departure of artistic director, Rex Dickson.

Dickson introduced his departure earlier this month, saying that the franchise may go in a “new direction” going ahead. Carlos Guerra, who joined EA in 2017, has taken over as senior producer on the sequence in response to his LinkedIn profile.

Prior to becoming a member of EA, Guerra labored for Blizzard Entertainment, together with his most up-to-date function being the senior producer on Overwatch.

“We collectively agreed this was the best path forward for everyone involved. This is as much for me and my family as it is about giving the team, the community and the Madden franchise a chance for a new direction.”
