Persona 3 Reload artwork

The Persona games are renowned for their outstanding soundtracks, and Persona 3 stands out among them. When the remake Persona 3 Reload introduced reimagined versions of its signature songs with a new vocalist, some fans expressed disappointment. While the new arrangements have been well received, you won’t have to choose between them — the original vocalist is returning as an option.

A patch arriving on October 23, rolling out across all platforms alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 release, will add eight tracks performed by Persona 3’s original singer, Yumi Kawamura. Players will be able to select these tracks as dungeon or battle music from the options menu. The included tracks are:

  • Burn My Dread -Last Battle-
  • Mass Destruction
  • Deep Mentality
  • When The Moon’s Reaching Out Stars
  • Want to Be Close
  • Memories of You
  • Mass Destruction -P3fes Version-
  • Brand New Days

Reload features many of Persona 3’s singing parts re-recorded by Azumi Takahashi, which have earned praise in their own right. Still, providing Yumi Kawamura’s original vocal performances as an optional soundtrack choice is an unequivocal win for fans.

These are the best JRPGs you can play today.
