Olivia Dean Delivers a Radiant Saturday Night Live Debut

Nov. 15, 2025

Olivia Dean made her Saturday Night Live debut on November 15, 2025, delivering two standout selections from her recent album, The Art of Loving. The performances showcased her blend of soul and pop sensibilities and solidified her growing presence in the U.S. market.

The 26-year-old British singer-songwriter and BRIT School alumnus joined host Glen Powell, opening with a buoyant, high-energy rendition of “Man I Need” before following with an atmospheric, tender take on “Let Alone the One You Love.”

Both songs are featured on Dean’s sophomore record, The Art of Loving, which climbed to No. 6 on the Billboard 200 after its September release. Her showstopper staging included a glittering gold dress for the opener—backed by a full band—and a flowing pink gown for the second number, set against a complementary backdrop.

Now a nominee for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards, Dean has built notable crossover momentum in recent months. She currently has four songs charting on the Billboard Hot 100, including the top-five hit “Man I Need.”

Dean also announced The Art of Loving Tour, with a North American leg beginning July 10 in San Francisco and concluding August 28 in Austin. The run features headline dates in Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden in New York City, Atlanta, Toronto, Las Vegas, Boston, and Houston.

Saturday Night Live returns on December 6, 2025, with Melissa McCarthy hosting and Dijon appearing as the musical guest. Below are Dean’s SNL performances; the full episode is available to stream through the show’s official platforms.
