Sean Bean, The Man Who Dies, doesn’t but appear resigned to his destiny.
Civilization 6 developer Firaxis roped in Sean Bean to provide narration at key points and voiceover for a few of its trailers, and he’s wonderful for the position on account of getting a voice like a heat hug.
In this behind-the-scenes video from 2K, somebody asks Bean a collection of questions on his work on Civilization 6 during which he reveals that, like so many online game voice actors, he has not been advised what on earth is occurring within the materials he’s studying. (This is quite common within the hyper-secretive world of video video games and is among the causes for ongoing industrial action.)
Amusingly, it seems Bean didn’t even know that his character dies in a Civilization 6 trailer, and his response is simply too, too valuable. Look at him. He’s simply gutted. I don’t care if he’s performing right here; I want so fervently for this response to be real that I select to consider it’s all very actual.
Bean, after all, is legendary for enjoying characters who die; it’s a little bit of a factor now. On the opposite hand, Civilization 6 is famous for being very good and selling extremely well.
