Are Rogue and Gambit next in line to join the playable roster of Marvel Rivals? Recent artwork tucked into developer NetEase Games’ patch notes strongly suggests so.
Marvel Rivals is currently in Season 4, which launched on Sept. 12, 2025 and introduced Angela and Daredevil. On Nov. 5, 2025, NetEase Games published the latest patch notes, and the header image contains faint renders of Rogue and Gambit layered into the background. The image is shown below — you may want to increase your screen brightness to make the silhouettes more visible.
Image: NetEase GamesNetEase has not formally announced the pair as upcoming additions, but the header art lines up with a series of late-October 2025 leaks that hinted at a romance-themed Season 5. (See a leaked clip and an X post for reference.) Season 4 is scheduled to conclude on Nov. 14, 2025.
Either character would be a welcome arrival. Gambit has enjoyed renewed attention following Channing Tatum’s portrayal in the 2024 film Deadpool and Wolverine, while Rogue has remained notorious among card-game players — frequently cited as one of the most aggravating opponents in Marvel Snap across 2022–2025.
Aside from these visual hints, the Nov. 5 patch notes also extended the Marvel Zombies event to Dec. 5, 2025 and listed several adjustments to Daredevil’s abilities. Read the full change log here.
