Hasta El Cielo options two bonus dubs by Jamaican producer Scientist. “For us, dub has always felt like a prayer,” the band stated in an announcement. “Spacious, mediative, in a position to transport the listener to a different realm. The first dub albums we listened to have been data blended by Scientist that includes the music of the Roots Radics. Laura Lee discovered to play bass by listening to Scientist Wins the World Cup. His distinctive mixing type, with the emphasis on area and texture, creates the sensation of frozen time; it was massively influential to us as a band. To be capable of work alongside Scientist, a legend within the historical past of dub, is an honor.”
