Which Apple products were discontinued after the September presentation:
• iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max — each year, Apple immediately discontinues the previous year’s “Pro” models following the release of new-generation models.
• iPhone 13 — this model was removed from the current lineup this year, while the iPhone 13 mini was removed last year. The current lineup now includes: iPhone SE (2022), iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, and all models from the iPhone 16 series.
• AirPods 2 and AirPods 3 — the basic AirPods models from previous generations have been replaced by the 4th generation AirPods. The current lineup now includes AirPods 4 (with and without active noise cancellation), AirPods Pro 2, and AirPods Max (now with USB-C, the version with Lightning has been discontinued).
• Apple Watch Series 9 — the current lineup now includes Apple Watch SE (2nd generation), Series 10, and Ultra 2.
All of the discontinued devices listed can still be purchased from third-party electronics stores, but they are now unavailable on the Apple website and at Apple Store physical locations.
