The single-player campaign unfolds across chapters and features narration from the Michael-obsessed Dr. Samuel J. Loomis. The narrative branches, includes multiple endings to promote replayability, and offers difficulty options, side missions, and hidden collectibles for players to discover.

IllFonic adds that this single-player content is partly intended as preparation: the experience should help players master Michael Myers’ rhythms and tactics before they jump into the online multiplayer matches.

So while IllFonic appears to prioritize asymmetrical multiplayer, the studio aims to use the single-player campaign as a narrative primer that deepens players’ familiarity with the characters — knowledge that should raise the stakes during those tense cat-and-mouse encounters with Michael Myers.

“IllFonic remains committed to delivering a compelling and authentic Halloween single-player experience that respects the measured pacing of the original film while allowing players to influence the story,” the studio says.
