Capcom and McDonald’s Japan are collaborating on a playful crossover called “Street Burgers,” a limited-time menu that lands in stores on October 22. The promotion pairs iconic Street Fighter characters with bespoke sandwiches and a colorful marketing campaign inspired by classic fighting-game imagery.
The themed lineup includes a Ryu-inspired burger topped with burnt garlic mayonnaise and a teriyaki patty with egg; a Chun‑Li sandwich built around crispy fried chicken and sweet‑and‑sour mayonnaise; and the Torichi — a triple‑cheeseburger created as a Ken tribute. The promotion also adds a McFizz and a McFloat made from carbonated apple juice flavored with a special French‑fry seasoning, plus a double‑cheese sausage McMuffin for good measure.
Capcom and McDonald’s supported the menu with a series of animated spots that lean into sprite art and over‑the‑top moves: you’ll see Akuma hurling a roasted garlic bulb at Ryu and Guile unleashing mayonnaise‑soaked Sonic Booms at Chun‑Li. Watch the featured clips below.

Alongside the food, McDonald’s‑themed costumes — rendered in the brand’s signature yellow and red — are being added to Street Fighter 6 as complimentary cosmetic options in Japan. The skins give the World Warriors a fast‑food twist that’s oddly charming and unmistakably McDonald’s.
