The trailer’s sparse, oppressive room feels heavier than its furnishings imply — amplified by Sophia Lillis’ panicked reaction to a knock at the door and Kojima’s mastery of mounting tension. Co-writer Jordan Peele, whose films Get Out and Nope redefined modern psychological horror, clearly helps deepen that dread.
