The patch addresses the most common problems and also corrects two rarer crashes: one that froze the game while a mission was loading, and another where enemies slipped through the ground. The latter is so unusual it’s almost laughable when it occurs.

Smaller refinements are included too, such as texture tweaks and a change that prevents the extraction shuttle from attempting to land on an obstructed pad. As always, try to position yourself where the shuttle has a clear approach to avoid complications during extraction.

This update is part of Arrowhead’s ongoing effort to stabilize Helldivers 2 after a run of recent performance issues. Returning to smooth, reliable gameplay will take time, but the development team remains actively patching the game. For democracy!

Players accepted the win and a free cape after Arrowhead discovered millions of previously uncounted Liberty Day kills, explaining, “We can only track melee or bullets and we went with bullet kills.”
