Despite the apology, the account has posted further AI-generated items speculating about a “GTA 6: A Snow-Covered Vice City for Christmas 2026? — A Winter DLC Fans Are Already Dreaming Of.” It’s a cautionary episode with lessons still to be learned.
Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser has said that GTA’s enduring appeal stems from its “sense of freedom” and from blending shooting, driving, and simulation elements in ways that hadn’t been attempted before.
