Donald Glover’s TV collection “Atlanta” is getting renewed for a fourth season, FX introduced in the present day. Production of the third and fourth seasons of “Atlanta” is slated to start in spring 2020. Each season will encompass eight episodes.
“What more can be said about ‘Atlanta’ than the critical acclaim and accolades that Donald, Paul [Simms], Dianne [McGunigle], Stephen [Glover], and Hiro [Murai] have earned for two exceptional seasons of what is clearly one of the best shows on television,” Eric Schrier, president of FX Entertainment, mentioned in a press release. “This group of collaborators and cast have created one of the most original, innovative stories of this generation and we are proud to be their partners.”
Season 2 of “Atlanta,” dubbed “Atlanta Robbin’ Season,” aired in 2018. It featured an episode all about Drake, music from Thundercat and Flying Lotus, an episode that referenced the viral “Christian mom” video about Vince Staples, and extra.
