Epic Games’ massively widespread battle royale mode for Fortnite has been offline since final evening when the servers have been taken down for emergency upkeep.
The challenge appears to be with “account services” which is inflicting points with logging into the sport.
Epic’s first repair – which was deployed at round 1AM UTC – wasn’t in a position to deal with the quantity of visitors that surged again onto the sport, so Fortnite needed to be taken offline once more to “deploy major upgrades” to its database system.
