Elder Scrolls Online Seasons of the Worm Cult

“We have some internal betting markets on which servers are going to unlock it first, but we’ll leave that,” Finnigan told GamesRadar+. “I’m pulling for Xbox EU, but we’ll see. That’s a dark horse, I think.”

The Writhing Wall is intentionally built as a cooperative, server-wide activity meant to bring players together and strengthen community ties — though it also introduces a competitive twist, as servers race to be the first to dismantle the barrier.

Finnigan added that the event expands the game’s competitive spirit while fostering server pride and identity. He’s already heard players discuss switching servers to try to join winning communities, and he expects that mix of cooperation and friendly rivalry will be healthy for the game overall.

The event is live now: all players can travel to the island of Stirk to pick up the introductory quest and begin contributing to their server’s progress, regardless of whether they own the content pass. If you want to explore Eastern Solstice after your server knocks down the wall, you’ll need to own the content pass — but anyone can help the cause and fight for their server.
