Yungblud Pauses Touring After Doctor Orders Cancellation of Remaining 2025 Dates
Published:

British rocker Yungblud announced on Sunday, November 16, 2025, that his physician has advised him to cancel all remaining concerts this year. The 28-year-old said recent examinations of his voice and bloodwork revealed issues that require immediate rest and medical attention.
Posting to his Instagram Story, he explained that routine tests picked up concerning results and that, for the first time, doctors have insisted he stop performing to avoid further harm. He wrote that, although his instinct is to keep pushing for the fans, “I’ve been told I have to take it seriously.”
The artist confirmed that several upcoming dates on the Idols World Tour have been called off. Affected North American shows include:
- Philadelphia — November 19, 2025
- Cleveland — November 23, 2025
- Washington, D.C. — November 25–26, 2025
He also cancelled performances in Mexico City and additional concerts across Latin America.
All U.S. ticket holders will receive refunds, the announcement states. Fans who submit a mailing address will additionally be sent a complimentary gift as a gesture of appreciation for their patience.
“My heart is broken,” Yungblud wrote, adding that stepping back is painful but necessary to preserve his long-term health and the longevity of his career.
The cancellations come shortly after his collaboration with Aerosmith, “My Only Angel,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart in September. That single is part of a five-track collaborative EP titled One More Time, scheduled for release on November 21, 2025 — Aerosmith’s first new material since their 2012 album Music From Another Dimension!.
Yungblud released his fourth studio album, Idols, in June 2025; the record reached No. 1 on the U.K. Albums Chart and climbed to No. 15 on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart.
As of this report, his team expects the Idols tour to resume in January 2026 with an Australian leg, followed by U.K. dates in April and a North American amphitheater run next summer, pending his recovery and medical clearance.
