Announcing the sales milestone, solo developer Friedemann Allmenröder—known for Summer House and Pizza Possum—admitted he didn’t expect such a rapid takeoff. He wrote that he “was not expecting” 100,000 sales and joked he underestimated how long development would take (he initially thought it would be a six‑week project).
Allmenröder says that in March 2025 he knocked together a crude prototype to test what he called a “very silly” idea. Even after a single day of tinkering he was surprised by how addictive the concept felt.
On the Steam page he’s already hinting at adjustments and new content. For example, he’s reduced the frequency of the “aggro stop‑hand” mechanic after player feedback; it will appear less during runs and will be disabled entirely in Arena Mode.
Looking ahead, he says the build feels stable and he plans to slow the cadence of updates briefly to recover from the launch rush, then shift focus toward adding new playable content and features.
