Bloomberg: iPadOS 19 to resemble macOS
Analyst Mark Gurman reported that the next update to the iPad operating system will focus on multitasking, performance improvements, and window management, bringing iPadOS closer to macOS.
However, a full macOS on the iPad will not appear — Apple remains consistent in distinguishing tablets as a separate category of devices.
iPadOS 19 and iOS 19 will be officially unveiled at the WWDC conference on June 9, where both operating systems are expected to receive a significant redesign in the style of visionOS.
