Valve isn’t the only company that’s got a sale starting today – other digital storefronts have started their Black Friday promotions today or have other seasonal events running, too. The world is your oyster this week if you’re in the market for PC games, and we’ve put together a selection of places to go to find the best deals.
It’s possible to find incredibly steep discounts on older games, of course, but some of this year’s recent big hits are also available for much less than the sticker price. Several outlets are carrying Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for 33% off, which isn’t bad at all for a triple-A game that launched last month to positive reviews. But you’ll be in even better shape if you’ve been waiting for sales on some of 2017’s biggest hits.
First, Humble is running its Fall Sale, which includes publisher-specific sales from the likes of Activision, Bandai Namco, Sega, WB Games, THQ Nordic, Paradox Interactive, Bethesda, and Konami. You can pick up the Dark Souls III Deluxe Edition for $25.49 (70% off), or grab Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for 20% off, at $47.99 just a month after launch.
GOG.com kicked off its Black Friday sale today, offering deals on Frostpunk ($20.09, 33% off), Divinity: Original Sin II’s Definitive Edition ($29.24, 35% off), Kingdom Come: Deliverance ($35.99, 40% off), and countless more.
Black Friday starts today at Fanatical, too – use the coupon code BLACKFRIDAY10 for an extra 10% off your order. They’ve got deals on Monster Hunter: World ($44.39, 26% off), Prey’s Mooncrash expansion ($9.59, 52% off), and Yakuza 0 ($13.39, 33% off), among many others.
Green Man Gaming also has started their Black Friday Sale, and you can claim vouchers for additional discounts on select games by signing in with your account there.
These sales are all running through Tuesday, November 27, so you’ve got the long holiday weekend to figure out what you want to shell your hard-earned dosh on – or to ask your friends and loved ones what they’ve got on their wishlists this year.
