A second patch for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds can be launched tomorrow.
It can be made out there on each purchasers and servers Thursday, April 6, beginning at 1am PT/4am ET/9am UK.
As outlined last week, the event group is pushing out common updates each day, weekly, and month-to-month.
Daily updates will enhance server efficiency, and the weekly updates give attention to bug fixes, stability and consumer efficiency.
The first consumer optimization patch can be launched later this month, and a hotfix was utilized to the servers earlier at this time to repair efficiency points. The latter was attributable to “an issue within the Unreal Engine core code” which led the server to imagine it was being DDoS’ed. This is why many customers during the last week reported lag and rubberbanding.
PlayerUnknown mentioned it’s going to proceed to work on server stability and efficiency updates each day, as outlined.

Performance Improvements
- Client performances have improved when loading buildings from a mid-distance
- Server efficiency has been improved
World: Fixed the problem that was inflicting buildings from an extended distance to not be seen
Sound
- Fixed a difficulty with door sounds taking part in at low quantity
- Adjusted quantity of wind, rain, and footsteps
- Improved the sounds for the buggy
- When in wet climate, you’ll now sporadically hear thunder sounds
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that allowed gamers to cover and assault different gamers from inside a rock
- Applied extra fixes to handle the problem of gamers going below the map in sure areas
- Fixed a number of points with weapon switching
- Fixed a difficulty with the compass path not displaying accurately
