#Battlefield6 PSA ⚠️Do NOT USE the “Gold Standard” skin for Main Battle Tanks: Leo A4 and M1A2. There’s currently an issue which is causing a massive (unintentional) weak spot from the entire front – around 70% damage without Armor Upgrade and 64% damage with Armor Upgrade vs… pic.twitter.com/7OSqXqmIat

Another player corroborated the roughly 70% damage figure and joined the chorus asking EA’s developers to address the bug: “please fix this issue.”
Because skins are supposed to be purely visual and not alter performance, these reports have frustrated the community. One commenter on Twitter questioned whether specific armor configurations are being sold as cosmetics: “So that’s not ‘skin’ in a traditional sense, somehow they’re selling specific armor layouts as skins? I really doubt they can handle that business model without problems.”
Others argue the game’s vehicle systems need more attention. “Vehicles are still getting ignored since launch,” one reply reads. “No fixes, no major balance improvements. There are a lot of instances where MBTs and IFVs are getting one-shotted or two-shotted by RPGs.”
There hasn’t been an official developer response yet. For now, it’s probably wise to avoid equipping Gold Standard skins if you care about survivability — unless you value the look over the risk: “They look cool. I’d rather die,” one player joked.
