
“Drone exploit will be no more,” he confirms in a follow-up reply. He recalls that during BF4 live service he added a system to place 3D out-of-area volumes wherever needed so designers could block rooftops or other problem locations and prevent exploits. Battlefield producer David Sirland adds that a similar system is expected to be implemented in Battlefield 6.
That could prove crucial, since “drone is fixed already on our side,” Manolov said as of October 27. He added he’s also considering other potential ways players might reach undesired locations. Regarding other exploits — such as stacking mines to deal illegal, unlimited damage — Manolov simply noted, “Yeah. It won’t work anymore that way.”
With Battlefield 6’s battle-royale mode on the horizon, the lead reassures players worried vehicles will spoil RedSec that there are “ways to handle it” — and that “you’ll see” the solutions soon enough.
