Like most glaring exploits, this one probably won’t last long — but it’s a lot of fun to watch. In every clip I’ve seen, the player keeps hammering the drone as they rise, seemingly climbing until they reach the map’s ceiling.
Used for high-altitude sniping, the glitch is bluntly effective; most players don’t expect sniper rounds to rain down from the clouds. Once it’s noticed, it should be straightforward to pick off those abusing it — provided EA doesn’t patch the bug out before anyone gets the chance.
