Responding to another request to restore the open beta’s movement, Le Bihan clarified the studio’s stance: the team does not intend to revert entirely to the beta state but is planning modest refinements to address elements that currently feel awkward.

He emphasised the studio’s aim to smooth out clunky interactions and said they will provide updates when they can.

From the limited details currently available, it appears EA is open to concessions for players who think the nerfs went too far — Le Bihan singled out a few mechanics that feel “clunky” and suggested those will receive attention. Precise changes will be revealed only once official patch notes are released; EA has not provided a firm timetable for that update.

EA has also confirmed it will patch the ladder exploit that players are using to traverse the map unnaturally.

EA is apparently playing whack-a-mole as Battlefield 6 fans keep using the FPS game’s new Portal mode to set up XP farms to bypass the sluggish progression grind
