DO NOT BUY! This game is a scam... how do I know? I made it.

My name is TJ ATOMICA, and I am the original creator of a mod called A Superman Style Flight Experience (UE5) which I uploaded to Itch.io for free earlier this year.

On Wednesday morning (2nd Novemeber) I was made aware of this game being sold on Steam that uses the Superman Demo mod I made earlier this year. I put it on Itch.io for free for people to enjoy mainly as a proof of concept and now this "Dev" has downloaded it, somehow got it through Steam certification, and is selling it to people in the Steam Community.

Apart from being a huge scam and taking people's money, they are making false claims about me and deleting messages from others warning of the scam. I have personally been blocked from the discussion/community page for trying to warn others as the Original Creator, and they actively have deleted several discussion threads from other people and myself warning of the malicious nature of this project.

In response to another negative review, they claim I used to work with them, this is a lie, I have no no idea who they are.
They claim to have made this game... also a lie.
They claim I am getting upset cause I want money??? LOL WHAT? Even though It's free else where? Ok...

I thought it's plausible they could have made this, after all, I myself used a bunch of Marketplace assets to build the mod.
However a huge thing that stuck out to me was how every colour of the character was the same, the body shape and globe and boot choices. Also, I am yet to see another person figure out the cape physics like I did, it was hard work to make it work in the Matrix Awakens demo because Epic disabled the system. Something I know most people have not figured out... even other mod videos on Youtube show the same character creator without the cape because of the difficulty getting the cape working.
To be safe, I bought this game... my game, to absolutely confirm it was my project, and I have confirmed this just now when I played it, and found the opening level I created from scratch WITH A MESSAGE FROM ME, explaining to players how the simple demo works and offers two doors to walk through. This 100% confirmed to me this project was the one I made and this developer just downloaded, stole, and passed this work off as their own.

I made this demo myself months ago as a proof of concept, using mostly free assets, and several YouTube videos and reviews will confirm this, and I was always open and honest about it...

The important part here is while yes, it is using free marketplace assets from the Unreal Marketplace, it was still my work to put the demo together and make it available for people to play as a functioning build.

My issue comes from them taking this demo and then selling it to people and making claims that are simply impossible. All the features they say they will add is impossible because they don't have the source code or the Unreal Project, they just downloaded the build of my itch page and uploaded it to steam, which means they can't change or make any of the features they claim.

It's the morality that is the biggest issue here. If they took it and put it on Steam for free, I wouldn't have really cared, but they are selling it, making wild claims, taking people's money, using pure lies, and dragging my name through the mud in the process.

I am starting to get abusive messages from people about it because naturally it comes back to me as the original creator, and they think I am the scammer... I just want it taken down and for them to stop making money of this blatant lie.

I have filed a DMCA take-down through Steam, but they are yet to do anything, and I have reported it. How it got through certification at all is completely beyond me...
Since this Dev banned me from the discussion thread, I felt buying the game and leaving a review they can't delete (I hope), was my only other option to warn, and protect people from this scam.

Yes I spent my own money, to give to a dev that stole the FREE project I made.
A necessary sacrifice.
The game is free, don't buy this here.

The audacity to use a hero like Superman for this villainous garbage.
