Description
Game Description:
From the other side of the ridge comes the clanking thunder and the ominous dust-cloud that heralds the arrival of an onrushing wave of deadly steel. German armored columns on the attack. Russian tank commanders slam shut the hatches of their dreaded T-34s. Gun crews prime their weapons and infantrymen hug the earth. And there...topping the rise...a glint of dawn reflecting off the muzzle of the first German tank. PANZERBLITZ is about to begin...

PanzerBlitz was a groundbreaking board game of armored warfare on the Eastern Front in World War II. The game is played at a tactical scale (company/platoon sized units) with geomorphic map boards. 250 meters per hex, and 6 minutes simulated per turn.

Mod Contents:
This mod currently allows you to play the game on the 3 original maps and 14 additional maps with the 12 original scenarios and many more additional scenarios from various sources. Unit Composition Tables are included for the original units. Many additional units (variants) are included for those wishing to create their own scenarios including:
German and Russian variant units;
Finnish Winter War units with Unit Composition Tables and 10 dedicated scenarios.
Russian Winter War variant units;
Early/Late War Russian variant units;
Polish units with Unit Composition Tables;
Hungarian and Romanian units;
PanzerBlitz Barbarossa Compaign with all 21 related scenarios and units;
ChopperBlitz and parablitz rules, scenarios, and German/Russian units from
gregpanzerblitz.com ;
Custom German and Russian dice; and
Some kickass WWII era tunes.

NOTE:
This mod uses Mangofeet's (here on TTS) Stack Exploder mod to allow players to right click on a stack of units to show them all and then replace them or move them.

Special Thanks:
Many thanks to Ward McBurney and the rest of the supporters on The Imaginative Strategist (particularly Alan Arvold, Byron Henderson, and Greg Moore), who supplied the lions share of the beautiful assets herein. There's no better site to support the old classics of PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader IMHO. http://www.imaginative-strategist.layfigures.com/index.html
Bravo Zulu to Mangofeet (here on TTS) for his awesome Stack Exploder mod.
Thanks to James Johnson on BGG for his marvelous work on the PanzerBlitz Barbarossa Campaign.
Kudos to Greg at http://www.gregpanzerblitz.com for additional rules, scenarios, and counters.
Cheers to Lily, here on TTS, for the ever awesome Kraken table.
Thanks to Tumba and MadMark56, here on TTS, for their ammo crates, dice tray, dice,
and related skins.
Gratz to all Board Game Geek members for their continued efforts to provide images and resources to aid us in our TTS endevours. https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2238/panzerblitz

This game is currently out of print. Please support these talented people by purchasing their other games if you play it here. Hard work needs to be rewarded to ensure we continue to benefit. If asked, I will remove this mod should copyrights be infringed in any way.

Future upgrades:
If anyone has links to scenario cards or additional counters they'd like to see thrown in, please let me know. As long as the quality is up to par, I'll be happy to oblige. Also please let me know if any units are AWOL from the situation cards.

Some Play Notes:
1. Players are responsible for making copies of their own pieces as required for the scenario they are playing. Before game only please :)
2. Longer map scenarios will need some table rearrangement.
3. Players may wish to incorporate the Op Fire rules from the sister game Panzer Leader to alleviate one of the major drawbacks this game presented in its day (Panzer Bush syndrome). http://www.imaginative-strategist.layfigures.com/PDFs/plrules.pdf
4. Some air units and other Panzer Leader resources are included in the variants for those wishing to use the Panzer Leader rules for them.
5. Maps are high-res and there's 17 of them so be patient on the load.

Hey Steve. If you unlock the dice tray (mouse over and hit "L" ) you can then move it around. Same with anything else on the table that is locked. That should allow you to place the maps but if not just highlight them all and scale them down a bit. Doing all 3 at once will ensure they're all scaled down equally. Or do them one at a time but count the scale down clicks. The counters can be scaled down the same way (all together with equal amount of clicks). Then save the scenario so you don't have to do it again in the future. Enjoy.

Some scenarios require you to setup the mapboards horizontally, short end to short end. The table doesn't have enough space to lay out all three mapboards in this manner, how do you fit the mapboards on the table then? Is the only way to do this is the scale reduce the size of the mapboards?

Also, can the dice tray be removed from the table so I can make more room on the table?

Thank you in advance for any help.:steamthumbsup:

Thanks @Richthofen56! Is doing Avalon Hills Richtofen's War under consideration?

@rgarber58. If you hit the green subscribe button then it will appear when you open Tabletop Simulator. It will appear in the blue workshop line of the menu when you create a single player game. If new to Tabletop, I highly recommend doing the short tutorial. It will save you a lot of frustration.

They are all there Mike. Don't forget they are two sided tiles that can be flipped over. The rest of the original scenarios are in the crate that's marked as such on the side of the table.

I'll check Mike.
