Ah, I had omitted the foul blemish that occurred to Rome Total War 2 from the crevices of my mind long ago. The concept of female generals, in a game that proclaims itself as wholly historical is utterly ludicrous. The reason why female monarchs, such as Boudica and Cleopatra, are so fervently mentioned and regaled, is due to the fact that they were a peculiarity and an outlier. If female generals were genuinely milling about and prolific in the primeval era, then we wouldn't place such attention on lone female generals and leaders, but would mention entire groups, civilisations and battalions that were female led.

Yeah, the main campaign is annoying anyway. All the family tree crap and upgrading your characters. Attila is a better game. Or the DLC's.

I don't think it is all factions. Like the Romans. They don't have any. But Egypt and some of the Northern factions are this way. I guess the premise was Egypt had Cleopatra and the north had some shield maidens. So that was translated into generals.

Compared to what is going on today. This is nothing. You can't have a baseball team named the Indians or even one drawn by an Indian on butter, lol. Not sure how far all this is going to go.

Oh no, this was on the main game. After an update. There weren't any female generals prior to this. They can make mods with machine guns and Godzilla. I wouldn't care. I also didn't mind Amazons in Rome 1. Since that had a basis in mythology. Though it was a bit ridiculous.

There is a whole movement to demasculinize men and masculinize women. There was nothing wrong with the way things were in the past. We each had roles basically forced upon us by nature.

People were ticked off because it is a historical game. Female generals never happened. It would be like putting female soldiers in a Civil War game. This is all part of the marxist revolution we are currently under. Changing history in games and movies. Recently turned into tearing down statues of all kinds. What do they want to replace it with? It can't be good.
