Is there no review process?

If there isn't even a way to ask "can we put this game on your store as-is", then essentially, nothing has changed, developers still have to censor their games before submitting them.

Fair, I see your point. But I thought that was the entire purpose of these new filters, to allow any content on steam with proper filtration.

Yeah. The way I understood it, they'll accept pretty much any game (save for the most obvious scams) as long as they have the proper tags and warnings and that the devs provide a description of what kind of content the game has so that people can choose simply not to view the game's store page.

It would make zero sense for games to have to remain censored under those circumstances.

hey i hope games are brave enough to show what they got, i got melty on another page course i did not care to do all the hazzle of uncensoring it and all that manually, plus i droped a few animes i would have bought if they had been uncensored its not alot but even abit of censor that takes away from the orginal project pisses me off, so i just flat out avoid censored products and stick with the orginal uncensored versions

What, did you read their 2 blogs? They went through all this trouble, so people can have adult content without being triggering to the rest. Or else all this would have been utter pointless, i mean the default settings have everything marked but "adult content". Either way, it doesn't hurt to ask steam if they are fine with explicit sex.

Yeah, there's now an Adults Only tag. And in it's description it specifically mentions that games with "...sexually explicit and graphic content intended for adults" are part of that. Seems pretty obvious so long as it's not illegal, it's allowed so long as you give a proper description of the content.

It's hard to tell, but don't be the one to find out Remtairy.

I mean, there's flat out porn movies now, but they're softcore. Almost like they aren't sure what they could get away with either.

I'ts pretty obvious they will be able to put porn in at least future games unpatched although they may be warry with already existing games
It should be considered that meltys quest is the game currently used as an example of an adults only game in the settings

It's still up to interpretation until someone attempts to actually release something. Dharker studios looks to be the first who would let us know

Incorrect. Kind of. There evidently has been a fully uncensored H-game released on Steam since that announcement: steam://openurl/https://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/868320/

Found that shortly after Valve made their comment on their new stance on violent and sexual content. Apparently Hentai Puzzle is also fully uncensored.
