Console Commands?
To get this out of the way, yes, im a cheating cheater who cheats at video games. however, im a cheating cheater who cheats at video games who is extremely invested in this story (see: the 83 hours clocked into my first full playthrough of Classic HD). the only thing that kept me through that one was "propf 6995 health 1" and the sort, otherwise my anxiety would get the better of me and make it unplayable (I tried to do the bachelor's route without any commands- i still have papers of lists and graphs made in a panicked attempt to shave .005 seconds off my runtime). Has anyone figured out how to turn on console commands yet? or, hell, even a walkthrough?

I get that removing the command sucks but y'all. You don't have to pirate an older version or modify the game files. That's ridiculous. If you're so hard pressed, download the Freeze Time table off Fearless, set your run speed high, lock all your survival bars at 100, or find any of a million other workarounds. Your game isn't broken bc you have to go into a house to find a thimble instead of spawning one in at the Lair.

I mean, a lot of people are kinda getting sick of the modern "you buy the product and it changes right before your eyes right after you paid for it".

I remember the days when you would buy the game and that game is what you would have had.

Its like as if you were to buy a car and then a week after the car seller broke into your home and changed how your brakes work. You still have the breaks, but now you cannot do what you could before.

And then that same person tells you that you are a bad guy for using the brakes the way you could before.

A small Russian indie developer that doesn't even make AAA games isn't responsible for Games as a Service, and it isn't Games as a Service for them to change around their private developer debug tools in a way that a lot of us now think is temporary while they work through Achievements logic.

It isn't like them breaking into your house and changing your ♥♥♥♥, it's like getting upset at a recall notice. It's fine and it doesn't change anything substantial. Sorry you can't spawn in a full inventory of panacea on Day 1 i guess?

Regardless, this is the only discussion forum that's talking about hacking the game so can we, you know, actually get back to learning more about how it works now?

Indeed, she is.

Servises/Simulation/Objects/Childs/Katerina (Character name)/Component Collection/Elements/Parameters

There is a set of parameters, including the status, minimap and bound list notification as well as immunity value.

Changing status from "Deceased" to "Normal" makes her wrapped up model to reappear, changing status from "Norma" to "Deceased" back allows to treat her as the glitch didn't happened.
Is this where all the NPCs are listed or did you have to go to a specific location or district or something?

Pathologic 2 is a video game, computer program. Developers gave us content and some tools to mess with it. If they remove it, the purpose needs to be for convcenience of client, not a developer. The number of game's "A" has nothing o do with it.

Yeah I'm a little upset about removing the console commands. The gameplay is fun, but I am most interested in this game for the story. The thing is, I don't want to just read about the game. I definitely want to experience the game/story first hand, but I don't want to feel like i have to play this game 800 times to get the full picture. Three to four times would be fine. Since they removed the console commands, I might just give up the play throughs entirely. I want control of the endings so I can really get into the writing. This is upsetting.

The more that Pathologic 2 has realy good writing. But replaying game for n-time really reduces the effect.

This is where the main NPC listed.

General NPC listed in an other path where they are sorted by districts, yet their properties are dumped in one folder with over 120 000 entities so game crashes when I am trying to open this path.

Can you spawn NPC's in the first place? I doubt, right?

You are literally missing out on a big chunk of the game if you aren't dying. Actual scripted content. They also only removed a single console command. The ENTIRE UNITY INSPECTOR is still there.

You just assumed that I didn't die at all. I died. I took the deal. I lost the ending. I didn't die until like the 8th day and then I got stuck in a death loop and couldn't get out without losing all my choices. SO. I think the console commands are fine. If I had just started a new game, I may not have had to take the deal and I never would have discovered THAT particular ending.

My plan was then to discover the OTHER endings which you dont necessarily need to die for. In fact, if I died too many times and couldn't support myself to the end... then... thats just it, I wouldn't make it to the end. If you play the game the way it should be played, I think you're more likely to get the same ending over and over. Like... how could you even defeat the worms and discover you know what if you have essentially no health bar....

Haha, hopefully they bring the item spawner back. Playing pathologic as a FPS could be extremely fun.

Darn the informative head post poofed-
And yeah! its funny that some people probably have read over some certain things. Though, I've got the feeling there's more hate for the people that spawn a fish, or a medicine.

Most like the believe we're full head on cheaters. If thats the case, People are quite lineaire in thinking, If they refuse/ and or don't want to see the other perspective. Same for the developers for pathologic 2.
