Denuvo 1 machine activation limit
What does this actually mean? If I ever change my hardware to the point where Denuvo no longer recognizes it; i'm boned?

If I ever want to play it on a different pc, I'm boned?

If this is the case i will not be buying the game.

Edit: they just changed it on the steam store. It literally said that it had a 1 machine activation limit. Think about this before pre-ordering the game.

Yeah, since I'm buying it on my steam account. That's what Steam's DRM does. I'm talking about Denuvo here.

It'll be another beautiful case where pirates get a better experience than people who actually buy the game.

That's literally how Steam's DRM works. Nothing changes on that front.

We're talking about Denuvo here.

yeah well spotted.

For those who missed it; it literally said the game had a 1-machine activation limit through Denuvo. They ninja-edited it out without giving any statements on here.

Hi - Little update from our side. The 1 machine activation limit was a store listing error and has now been corrected.

Because a poor implementation of Denuvo, including insanely low activation limits, can lead to severely poor user experiences. A clarification would be great :)

Probably, yeah. But it could be a listing error on the grounds that they weren't supposed to reveal it yet (while still having a 1 machine limit). Without clarification we can't really be sure.
