Is there some mechanic the tutorial never went over?
I get stunlocked => lose 60% hp
The controls feel mad awkward, it feels worse than AC4 in that regard. I don't know how you'd even play with the default control scheme where you can't vertical boost and use the right stick at the same time?
Edit: also remember that they added dark souls style heals to the game for no reason, using them is essential

and also use sword and buildings as cover
I can't get enough DPS to stun him without dying sadly so that doesn't work
