They can take one turn a thousand times and they will take the turn the exact same way, 1,000 times. It can be especially frustrating in games like forza, where the AI gets a massive boost in acceleration; so even being able to out corner the AI, they still take off like rockets on the straightaways.
Of course once you actually pass them, then they actually start slowing down, but good luck passing them lol.
I mean, yes, I know I'm not the best driver out there, but I have a M4 with a rating in the upper end of S1, and I get 40 year old Ferraris flying past me on a straight at 320+ KPH.
And my AI is "only" set to "highly skilled".
Many configurations can get you a high S1. Depends on the car, track, surface, your settings etc.. So many variables that you need to adapt to.
As an example:
I did a test on the unbeatable setting in a drag race; I used a drag specific tuned Supra. Not only did the AI out accelerate me, but I didn't even start catching up till the last few feet of the race. The AI doesn't use drag builds, and also uses all of their gears, so really, where's the acceleration coming from?, and it's a simple easy answer, an obvious boost to the AI's abilities.
There were races in FH4 where Unbeatable was a joke. I've done a few here and so far the difficult labels are far more accurate.
Unbeatable is ridiculous and not simply because the AI is fast. I am running .5 seconds faster than the leader per lap and can't catch the AI, .5 or mare faster than the others save a few running .2 to .3 seconds faster than me, but stuck somewhere in the back of the pack.
Much like Horizon 4, it's the same headache. The player runs faster than the AI on paper, however in actuality, the AI has a ridiculous amount of acceleration due to getting engines that they shouldn't have. To sum up, the AIs' cars are tuned as if they have stock treads and monster engines, and yet they are also are able to corner fast.
Sorry dude, but that simply isn't accurate to me. Accurate would be driving a car within the limits of it's actual tuning. But hey, at least I can consistently win on pro now.
fixed
Then there's the sandbagging, I don't even want to get started on the sandbagging.
I also noticed this. Their cornering is simply flawless
S2 and your ONLY doing 260? lol no wonder you're getting rekt.
