Unreal Editor for Fortnite Delayed until January 2023

Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has announced that the Unreal Editor for Fortnite has been delayed until late January 2023.

In a reply on Twitter to Fortnite leaker Hypex, who asked the CEO if UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) is still expected for later this year, Sweeney said "Sorry folks, the team is working super hard, but the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) has been delayed to late January 2023". UEFN was originally expected to launch in December 2021, then December 2022.

The delay announcement comes just three weeks after the first images of UEFN were leaked. So far, those images are the only thing we've seen of the editor. More information is expected to be shared in the days leading up to the launch of Fortnite Chapter 4. As always, we'll keep you updated.
