Shockwave Hammer Nerfed in Hotfix

Following feedback from Fortnite players, Epic Games has deployed a hotfix to adjust the Shockwave Hammer.

The latest hotfix has reduced the amount of bounce charges the hammer has from four to three. Although these charges do automatically reload over time, this process takes 21 seconds per bounce. The recharge time was originally much shorter, but Epic increased it with the first balance update five weeks ago.

The adjustment comes just a few days after the Shockwave Hammer was completely removed from all playlists due to a bug that allowed players to bypass the recharge and bounce around an infinite amount of times. It's likely that Epic will deploy more balance hotfixes as the season progresses. We'll keep you updated.
