Definitely not the original, but a great find for me
I admit I can kinda see where frustrated people are coming from- some of the soundbits aren't the same, you can only play as Donatello, etc...but even so, this tiny arcade is still a big piece of nostalgia for me, and even with its flaws, I love it. What seems to be a 3/10 to people on Google (i looked up to see if you could switch characters) is absolutely still a 10/10 for me.

    AMAZING.

I am getting these tiny arcade games as unique Christmas ornament.

I found the Ms. Pac-man one in a mall last year for maybe $15. I wanted to add Space Invaders next, because it's such a classic, it's possibly the first or second most memorable out of these very early arcade games.

At first I was a little disappointed, because it looked like Space Invaders only plays a few seconds of a demo, and then shuts off, unlike the Ms. Pac-Man, which you could play.

Then I turned the power switch off and on, though, and it ended up you can play the game, just like Ms. Pac-man!

It's awesome, exactly like the original version of the game, but on a screen that's about as small as a wristwatch, maybe 1 inch by 1 inch.

    Perfect size for Christmas ornaments.

    Very fun and funny.

Very cool nostalgia for someone like me, who was an 80s kid, and who video games were very important to.

It's disappointing that it's $30. I would have liked to pay only $5-$15. But like I said, Space Invaders is so classic and memorable, it's almost like you can't skip it.

This product was one i was scared nonetheless of getting. I was scared it would break, get damaged , come in bad shape , or even not work in general once i got it ! I played for the first time and it worked so well and it’s been a couple of months now and i love it ! Very durable also :)! I recommend highly .

This is the full Ms. Pac-Man game. It's amazing they can do this. It's super tiny and just awesome. I am actually better at this version of the game than any other version I've played. I'm not sure if the Ghost AI is different or something - or if it is just because I have to be so focused in order to see the small screen. The screen is great, don't get me wrong. But it is tiny, and you have to be dialed in in order to play it.

When I first received an alert that these Tiny Arcade machines were on sale for under $20, I was a bit skeptical of the product at first. There have been hundreds of these kinds of players out there that you can find at your local stores in the clearance section, but for those that reviewed these said they were pretty cool for what they were. Interested, I decided to pick up a few different games to see how they hold up.

The packaging has a small cutout for a demo mode. This "demo" is actually an attract mode that shuts off after it runs through the sequence. To play the game, you have to unbox the unit and then power cycle it to start the game up. Speaking of powering up, one big surprise from the unit was the light-up marquee. It looks great while powered on and adds a bit to the arcade authenticity.

The arcade panel itself looks great. The stickers on the panel are evenly applied and the print quality is excellent. This defiantly looks great on display (I currently have three different Tiny Arcade units on my desk with one on the way).

For its size, the unit does a decent job replicating the Ms. Pac-Man experience. The buttons and the sticks appear to be using really tiny micro-switches unlike the mushy pads that other players tend to use. This made playing on the unit, despite its small size, actually viable. Unfortunately, those looking for an arcade ROM on-board will be disappointed. While it isn't an NES/Famicom version of the game like many other players, it is a modified version of the arcade version designed around the hardware.

Sound emulation is decent (appears to be full speed), but there are a few differences seasoned Ms. Pac-Man players will notice. One of the biggest differences is what happens when you eat a power pellet. On arcade hardware, the power-up sound plays through the entire time. On this unit, it plays for a few seconds then cuts out. Not a deal-breaker since everything else sounds fine to me. However, one thing to note is that it is impossible to mute the Tiny Arcade. Sound is always on, and it can be quite loud at times.

The unit requires 3x AAA batteries to operate. Fortunately, they come pre-installed in the unit. One thing I would have liked was the option for power over USB, but sadly this is not an option. Furthermore, the unit does not stay powered on during the attract mode, so those looking for a device to stay powered on full-time for display purposes won't find that here.

Overall, this is an excellent little unit for those looking for something fun to put on their desk. It's surprisingly playable given its size and there was some care put into the unit to not make it seem like a bargain-bin experience. The controls feel responsive and the screen looks decent given its small size, but a lack of USB power for an always-on attract mode and no sound toggle take a star off my rating. Overall, these are a fantastic purchase for anyone wanting something small and retro to display on their desk at home, at work, or in a video game / arcade collection.

yep, it's a tiny screen. Yep, have to wear my glasses to play it. Yep, I have immense fun doing so! I think I have all of these and now have the new ones for this batch. Mappy works so well for this size. Love it. If this were me as a kid in the arcade I would've easily have pumped more quarters into the game already than what I paid for this. Love these.

I bought this item for my child and the first one was defective so I bought a second one which was defective as well. My child was disappointed and I had to return two of these games. Do not buy. I also reached out to the manufacturer and they discontinued this item. The seller is selling a discontinued game.

If you are looking for the 4 player full game/emulation. Don't look here. Consider a full cabinet or the 3/4 from arcade1up. This is a fantastic little mini novelty that is extremely playable. While it doesn't hone in on the accuracy of the licensed cartoon music, the game play looks as it should for the first 3 levels of the arcade cabinet. Again, it isn't a perfect replica, but it is really good for $20. The marquee lights up and you do have options to turn off the annoying music. And if you desire, you can turn off the sound effects as well. All in all it is a pretty neat little device/keychain.

The graphics and play are faithful to the old coin operated version and far better graphics than even the old Atari console! Incredible how far technology has come.

No this probably will not replace a coin op, or a console, or even a flash version of the game on your PC in terms of controllability but it's a great novelty at a price that's cheaper than a dinner and a movie out.
