Coldplay

Fronted by lead singer Chris Martin (whose birthday is March 2, 1977 and height is 6'1"), Coldplay has remained one of the most influential pop-rock acts since the late ‘90s. With guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion filling out the lineup, the British musicians have long been fixtures on the charts with Hot 100 hits 2001’s “Yellow,” 2008’s “Viva La Vida,” and 2017’s “Something Just Like This.” In 2016, they turned in one of the most iconic Super Bowl Halftime Shows ever by employing the help of Beyoncé and Bruno Mars. In 2021, they scored their second No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, nearly two decades after earning their first in 2005 with “Viva La Vida,” by teaming up with BTS on “My Universe.” Known for their anthemic sound and high-energy performances, they have grossed more than $500 million on multiple tours, with both their 2016 A Head Full of Dreams Tour and their 2022 Music of the Spheres World Tour ranking on Billboard’s list of top 10 highest-grossing tours of all time.
