My go-2 mouse that is perfect for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My go-to mouse that is perfect for gaming. I like the speed scroll setting button to switch between 3 speeds. Then, the roller has a locking mechanism to click-wheel thru website or free-roll so you can scroll thru website like a slippery wet slide. Then, as if that wasn't enough, you can adjust the weight of the mouse and traction by "inserting the metal weights" to your desire. And, with the fast ms response time for gaming, and contoured mold to your hand like a "glove" what more could you want? Oh, i prefer this than the wireless because , its direct connection is better for gaming and less interference from radio frequencies. So, its cheaper than the wireless version, which is fine, if you dont do intense gaming. But, This is my GO-2 mouse. Perfect price, and i cant think of anyway to improve this mouse. Even the texture surface is rubbery or leather and a good grip at the right location. The only improvement I can see? If it had a "fan" inside to cool off your hands , because of the intense gaming and long hours of using this product.

Buy this one
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The G502 is a great mouse that has a lot of functionality without being overwhelming. You can adjust your dpi on the fly with the side buttons, you can unlock the scroll wheel so it has no resistance and spins freely, and there are weights that you can use to adjust the weight of the mouse to your liking. I use this mouse mainly for gaming and the input delay is unnoticeable. Overall the G502 is a well rounded and reliable device.

Favorite Mouse
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used the razer deathadder and razer naga and In my opinion they don’t even compare to the g502 hero. I’ve had the g502 for about 2 days and collectively used the mouse for 8 hours of gaming and 10+ hours of productivity and I am very satisfied with this mouse. I have pretty small hands and this mouse still very comfortable in the hand. I really cant think of anything that would make someone not want to purchase this mouse besides the fact that the scroll wheel down button is pretty resistant so if someone likes the use the middle mouse button then it might be a problem. However, there are 10 other programable buttons so for the majority I think this shouldn’t be a problem. The middle mouse button is also cold to the touch most of the time which isn’t bothering but it might annoy some people. I realized that the left wheel tilt button is easier the press than the right wheel tilt button (not by much). The hyperscroll is fun to fidget with. When I was working it was helpful but not that accurate. The left and right mouse buttons are really easy to press. For me it took a few hours to get used to because the mouse I was using right before (razer naga) had more resistant clicks. With the g502 I definitely feel faster in my movements in game and at work. The side buttons are really nice the click and easy to locate even in the dark. It did take an hour or 2 to get used to the positioning for me but it was very comfortable once I got it right. The rgb isn’t great but I personally like the subtleness or if (unlike the massive lit razer logo). The mouse itself is just as/a little less heavy than the razer naga but it’s good weight for me. The extra weights included feel premium but make the mouse a little too heavy (I do know some people that have up to all the weights in their mouse. It’s all up to personal preference). The grips on the sides and the glides on the button of the mouse are very nice and I have no problem moving or lifting the mouse. The glides are very smooth. I use my mouse on a steelseries mouse pad and it’s great. My palm wrests very nicely on the mouse and the texture is very comfortable. The software isn’t too great but gets the job done. I was definitely lost for a good 10 minutes until I figured out how to program the buttons. The on board memory is great because I can save my presets and never have touch ghub again. My favorite part of the mouse has to be the sensor. It just feels so much more accurate. I play rainbow six seige mostly and after getting the mouse I averaged 4-12 kills per game which was a huge step up because before with my naga, that has an atrocious sensor, my aim was very inconsistent and made playing not fun. Overall the mouse is amazing and personally I have no complaints.

You Can Slam It!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this mouse in 2021. I am an avid gamer and I slam my mouse when i die in games... whoops! Anyways, I just had to go get a new one in 2024 after many countless slams and hours of gaming. It is smooth and feels good in my hand. 10/10

Wired Mouse
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has two buttons on the side of the left-click button I've never really bothered to figure out. The two buttons on the side allow you to go back and forward in your browser, which is useful if you misclick a link. They also work as extra buttons when gaming, which I use occasionally. RGB is controlled by the button behind the scroll lock button, which is behind the scroll wheel. Scroll wheel has tilt functionality, which can be used to scroll horizontally in websites. Has its uses.

Best Mouse I've Owned So Far
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First G502. Bought on recommendation because I've got bigger hands. Was not disappointed. The weights you can add are a nice tough and the additional buttons you can map are great.

Great mouse if you don't want wireless
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse because my wireless one was becoming unreliable with a choppy connection so I went with a corded one. The responsiveness is really good and I'm not having any troubles with the mouse lagging of any sort. The ergonomics of this product feels great. It's not too big and the space where your thumb goes feels really nice. I like how this mouse comes with weights that you can install on the bottom of it for a more "solid" feel. The glowing "G" on the mouse is pretty cool too. With the Logitech software, you can change the colors on it or keep it in a rainbow colored rotation. I haven't figured out how to assign keys for gaming yet but I'm sure I won't have any issues once I figure it out. I purchased this along with the Logitech 815 corded keypad and it's a great combo together. My wife really likes the design too and was considering purchasing something similar as well.

Q: QuestionIs this mouse (Logitech G502-Hero) better than the Logitech G502 Proteus spectrum?
Asked by Ronald.
- A:Answer The G502 Hero is the newer model of the Proteus Spectrum. Ergonomics are nearly identical between the two, however there are some technical differences. The newer ‘Hero’ model uses Logitech’s newer HERO (High Efficiency Rated Optical) sensor, which should show an improved DPI count from ~ 12,000 to ~16,000. Still, most people won’t ever take advantage of this improvement. At 16,000 DPI, using your mouse and watching your cursor fly wildly across the screen is going to be equivalent to most people as ludicrous speed was to Dark Helmet in the movie ‘Spaceballs’.
