AMD launches a plethora of new Radeon 6000 mobile GPUs
AMD Radeon 6000 series naming is a mess.
Today AMD is introducing three Radeon 6X50M GPUs based on 7nm process technology. The RX 6850M XT is the new flagship mobile SKU with increased TGP to 165W and faster 18 Gbps memory. This SKU features 40 Compute Units, so just as many as Radeon RX 6800M.
Furthermore, there are two 6nm Navi24 based SKUs: RX 6500M and 6300M, featuring 16 and 12 Compute Units respectively. Those are low-power (50-25W) CPUs with either 4 or 2GB of memory.

We also have specs of the Radeon RX 6000S series. This is actually a confirmation of our leak from early December. The Radeon 6000S are basically low-power Radeon GPUs for thin and light laptops. What is worth noting here is that 6800S and 6800M specs do not match in terms of Stream Processors, so the naming ends up just being confusing. The 6000S are basically AMD’s Max-Q GPUs, except they don’t actually have the same GPU configurations like NVIDIA graphics cards.
