RUMOR: Is this NVIDIA TITAN Volta?

Please note that this post is tagged as a rumor.

A picture of yet unseen design of NVIDIA graphics cards has just been discovered.

New NVIDIA TITAN or a fancy cooler mod?

The card on the photo has NVLink connectors (like Tesla P100). However, unlike P100 it has power connectors located on the different side.

Is this a cool modification of existing TITAN Xp or an actual unreleased TITAN? Would someone post this on Facebook and wait for others to find it a few days later? Seems strange.

According to the post on Overclock forums, the person responsible for this photograph is allegedly an intern at NVIDIA (you can find his badge, but I’m not posting it here).

If this is true, then it means that TITAN VOLTA would utilize NVLink connectors rather than SLI. Whether this card is powered by GV100 or GV102 graphics processors, we don’t know.

For comparison, the following picture shows Tesla P100 with NVLink connectors.
