A Kid-Friendly “Fantastic Four” Reboot Planned?

In order to keep the film rights to “Fantastic Four” without them reverting to Marvel, a new film based on the characters will have to be released sometime in the next few years but 20th Century Fox.

Now, Bleeding Cool reports that the studio has hired Seth Grahame-Smith to work on a new treatment – one that’s much more kid-friendly and similar in concept to Pixar’s “The Incredibles”.

The new story will reportedly be told through the eyes of the children of Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman – Franklin and Valeria Richards.

Smith did work on the early drafts of the script for the 2015 reboot, before his work got effectively chucked by director Josh Trank who elected to write his own screenplay.
