Selena Gomez was born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. Her birthday is July 22, 1992, and her height is 5'5". Gomez moved to California in 2006 when she landed the role of Alex Russo on Disney Channel's sitcom 'Wizards of Waverly Place,' which turned her into a teen star. She released her debut album, 'Stars Dance,' in July 2013, with the album debuting at No. 1. First single "Come & Get It" peaked at No. 6 on the Hot 100.
