Cardi B (real name Belcalis Almanzar) was born in New York City and raised in the Bronx. Her birthday is Oct. 11, 1992, and her height is 5'3". She famously started her career as a stripper and transformed into a reality star on VH1's 'Love & Hip-Hop: New York' in 2015 before becoming a hip-hop superstar. Cardi made her musical debut on Shaggy's "Boom Boom" remix in 2015, and dropped three mixtapes before her debut studio album, 'Invasion of Privacy,' arrived in April 2018. The set debuted at No. 1 on the April 21, 2018, Billboard 200 chart, with lead single "Bodak Yellow" spending three weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100. The track, which dropped in June 2017, earned Grammy nods in 2018 for best rap song and best rap performance. She made history in February 2019 when 'Invasion of Privacy' won best rap album, making her the first solo female artist to ever win in that category. Cardi B has collaborated with a wide range of artists from different genres, including Maroon 5 ("Girls Like You"), Bad Bunny and J Balvin ("I Like It"), Megan Thee Stallion ("WAP"), husband Offset ("Clout") as well as his group Migos ("Drip" and "Type Shit").
