After sharing his accomplishment on Reddit, Renegade spoke with PC Gamer, saying he wanted the level-50 jeep badge on his profile as a kind of flex, since few players are likely to earn it.

So how did he manage it? Renegade says he would position the jeep at objectives or choke points and wait for enemies to approach. The grind was done intermittently over about a month. He also noted he avoided casual playlists because they award only a fraction of the XP for bot kills.

After investing that time, his verdict is blunt: “It’s a bad vehicle.” He added that even a modest shield on the machine gun would make the role of gunner far more viable.

Battlefield 6 lead says recoil will be “100% fixed,” but “it’s a pretty complex issue” that will take time to resolve: “We’re already cooking some improvements.”
