This adjustment took effect on October 7, 2025. An announcement posted to the game’s official Discord reads: “We want to ensure a fair price point for all. If you already made the purchase in one of those locations, you will receive a refund automatically, though this can take a few days depending on the platform.”
While the change is welcome, it underscores how frustrating regional pricing has become for both consumers and publishers. Other markets not listed—Poland among them—are reportedly still seeing significant differences between local prices and the USD equivalent.
That discrepancy creates unnecessary administrative work and customer friction. Ideally, more developers and publishers will follow Embark’s lead and prompt broader, systemic improvements to international pricing practices.
