Apple increased the cost of replacing the iPhone 16 Pro battery by 20%
Now, replacing the battery on current Pro models will cost $119. For standard iPhone 16 and older models, the service cost will still be $99.
The decision is justified by the fact that the iPhone 16 Pro has a new high-capacity metal battery, which has affected the replacement price.
However, if you sign up for AppleCare+, you can replace the battery for free, as long as its capacity hasn’t dropped below 80%.
