Apple adds Repair Assistant feature for checking and configuring replaced iPhone components
The utility allows for the configuration of parts after repair and verifies their authenticity.
Additionally, if a part is taken from another device, the system may lock the replaced part until the user logs into the original Apple ID account.
Apple clarifies that Repair Assistant is available for iPhone 12 models and newer. This feature can be used to configure the battery, camera, display, and other components.
