Amazon Drops Trailer For NBA Star Draymond Green’s Documentary As The Golden State Warriors Stay Alive In The Finals, And I Hope This Isn’t A New Curse

As the Golden State Warriors continue their series against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, a new documentary is on the way. And we I’m hoping isn’t some new sort of Kardashian curse. Draymond Green has a new documentary on the way and based on Amazon’s first trailer for the special, it seems as though it’ll get inside the mind of one of the NBA’s most polarizing stars

The Sessions: Draymond Green pairs the four-time NBA all-star, three-time champion, and Space Jam 2 actor with one of the most legendary names in alternative medicine, Deepak Chopra and master healer Devi Brown. In this special, it’s hoped that the spiritual experts can teach the NBA athlete to train his mind just as effectively as he’s conditioned his body over the years. Amazon Prime subscribers can watch the special on Friday, June 17th, which will be the night after Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Obviously, the doc finished shooting before the 2022 NBA Finals, which is where some might wonder if the release of a special about “training his mind” could’ve cursed Green. There’s been a lot of scrutiny regarding Green’s performance in the first three games of the series, which might influence how people feel about this documentary he participated in with the goal of perhaps making him a better athlete. We can only wait and see and hope Green returns to form in the upcoming games.

As mentioned, The Sessions: Draymond Green will be available on Prime Video (opens in new tab) on Friday, June 17th. NBA fans should be sure to mark their calendars, especially with the competitive matchups scheduled between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics in the coming days.

More to come…
